The goals of the project are:
- Promoting the traditions of the academic community through meetings popularizing folk dances dedicated to the inhabitants of the region and all interested persons;
- Digitization of selected folk dances, popularizing the latest scientific achievements of 3D technology in the service of the nation.
The realization of the project will allow us to show how scientific achievements are useful for society in line with the social responsibility of science. The latest achievements in 3D technology will be used to provide the public an access to the Polish folk dance tradition. The dynamic development of this technology allows both to capture and protect this type of endangered heritage. Due to the project, future learning, related to virtual reality will ensure the survival of the intangible heritage of the past.
