The Division of Computer Vision and Machine Learning was established on January 1, 2024. It gathers together researchers whose experience and interests are related to computer vision and various applications of deep learning methods in data classification, prediction as well as understanding of information in static images. The researchers have detailed knowledge about conducting research and processing data obtained from optical motion capture systems.

The Division cooperates with Polish (Medical University in Lublin) and foreign scientific initiates (CYENS Centre of Excellence, Cyprus University of Technology, University of Alicante, University of South-Eastern Norway), due to which interdisciplinary research is being developed.
