VR Laboratory
Five infrared eye and face tracking sensors, each with a 120-degree field of view, are optimally arranged to capture upper and lower facial movements. The goggles provide more expressive possibilities and higher precision compared to solutions with fewer sensors.
The goggles offer adjustable immersion levels in VR, from fully open peripheral vision to partial blocking to full immersion. Supported IPD range is 55-75 mm with smooth lens spacing adjustment, ensuring a clearer image and less eye fatigue. The goggles can be linked to the motion capture system.
The laboratory is equipped with advanced hardware for interdisciplinary research:
- Mixed reality goggles allowing for facial expression and eye movement tracking
The laboratory serves both research and education purposes. Advanced research conducted as part of engineering and master’s theses enhances students’ education and enhances the skills of graduates, giving them a better start in their careers.
